Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Ad Sales Data Analyst to provide analytic leadership and support to our Sales and Marketing teams. The position reports to the Head of Analytics and will be a key contributor to the Business Intelligence team with significant exposure to senior management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Execute in a fast-paced, team environment
- Create performance dashboards for sales managers (pipeline, forecasts, segmentation)
- Develop and support advertising performance research projects
- Conduct diagnostics and yield analysis on ad delivery systems
- Conduct ad hoc analysis for ad sales team (pitch decks, negotiations, pricing)
- Proactively analyze network data in search of business insight
- Gather and justify evolving data and reporting requirements
- Ensure data integrity and analytic rigor of marketing facing communications
- Create next generation mobile targeting solutions for Tapjoy's 150MM+ monthly consumers
- Help Tapjoy's global revenue team to generate new business using 1st and 3rd party analytics and research
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree. MBA or additional professional certification preferred
- Knowledge of social media, gaming and online advertising highly desirable
- Proficient with SQL
- Experience with Salesforce.com desired
- MicroStrategy experience a plus
- Working knowledge of statistics
- Knowledge of mobile/online advertising KPI
- Understating of mobile/online ad sales cycle
- Understanding of the needs and objectives of both performance and brand advertisers
- Experience with tracking and measurement vendors (ComScore/Nielsen/etc.)
- Highly detail oriented; ability to meet deadlines and effective problem solving skills
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
- A mature, self-motivated person with a positive, professional attitude
- High capacity to operate effectively in a turbulent startup environment
